A life-simulation game where you do not answer questions about yourself — you live a life and discover who you are from what you actually did. Decisions are permanent. Consequences arrive on their own schedule.
Who are you when your decisions have consequences?
Actions, not claims
The game never simply asks whether you are loyal. It builds a situation where loyalty costs something, and watches what you actually do.
People are not labelled
An ally may be competing with you in private. Someone hostile may come to respect you. You have to work out who people really are.
Consequences run deep
Some results are immediate. Others surface much later, and you may never be told which earlier decision caused them.
Lives can end
Certain paths bring a simulated life to an irreversible close. The life is sealed, archived, and never editable. Then you may begin another.
You stay anonymous
TAT never asks for your real name, phone number, address or location. You play as a nickname, and that nickname is all anyone else ever sees.
No single right answer
A decision can work now and create a problem later. It can fail now and open a door years on. It can raise your standing and cost you a friendship, or protect a relationship and close off an opportunity. TAT does not grade you against one correct path, because lives are not lived that way.
